TradingView MCP and AI agents: analysis, alerts, Pine Script and execution

Official sources reviewed ·

The official TradingView MCP is documented as a beta with market-data, watchlist and alert tools. Its server URL is https://mcp.tradingview.com/mcp and authentication uses OAuth 2.1. Review the current documentation and permissions in your compatible client.

MCP alerts and webhook automation

The current MCP docs allow simple price alerts but say webhook creation is unavailable through MCP. A webhook sends a request to a configured endpoint; execution requires a separate authenticated receiver. Read the current official setup documentation.

A reviewable AI research workflow

Begin with one instrument, timeframe and timestamped data sample. Ask for the inputs, calculation and uncertainty behind an answer. Compare the analysis with a source-code example, then record a separate test before considering execution. Keep permission to edit alerts or watchlists distinct from permission to place orders.

This is an editorial workflow, not a runnable autonomous agent. BSV’s MCP-oriented packs are research/prompt materials, and Gold Session Desk is an analysis product. They do not establish a 24/7 trading service, a verified-agent leaderboard or exchange integration.

Existing BSV resources

Each linked resource keeps its own access terms. The catalogue’s free source requires verified email registration. Follow the official provider’s current access requirements when using its MCP server.
